Skye Now Speaks Your Language

Skye Now Speaks Your Language

22nd April 2026

Australia is one of the most culturally diverse countries in the world and our hospitals reflect that. Yet for too long, patients from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds have navigated some of the most stressful moments of their lives without access to health information in their own language. That's not good enough and we've always known it.

We're excited to share that Skye now supports multiple languages, making our platform accessible to patients and their families regardless of their background or first language.

This matters beyond convenience. When a patient genuinely understands their diagnosis, their treatment plan and what to expect at every step, they're more engaged, more confident and better equipped to make informed decisions about their own care. Health literacy is an equity issue and language is one of the biggest barriers standing in the way of it.

For families too, who often play a critical role in supporting a loved one through complex treatment, being able to access information in their own language changes everything about how they can show up and help.

We built Skye to put patients at the heart of their healthcare journey. That means all patients and this is a step towards making that promise real.
