Solara Health Awarded Lisa Ring & Family Scholarship
1st October 2024
We are proud of announce that Josh Farrington, Founder and CEO of Solara Health, has been named one of two 2025 Lisa Ring & Family Scholars through StartSpace, a community for early-stage startups run out of State Library Victoria.
The Lisa Ring & Family Scholarship was established to support promising early-stage founders in Victoria. Funded by philanthropist Lisa Ring and administered through StartSpace at State Library Victoria, it backs entrepreneurs who are building something genuinely worth backing with both funding and the community around them to make it count.
The scholarship includes $10,000 in seed funding, 12 months of StartSpace Loft membership and tailored development support across the program. Josh was recognised alongside Ruwini Cooray, founder of Neurogen, who is developing cell-based brain implants to treat neurological diseases including Alzheimer's and Parkinson's.
Huge thanks to Lisa Ring & Family, StartSpace and Helen Souness, for this incredible scholarship opportunity. We are honoured to have received this support and are super excited for the times ahead for the Solara team.
